Dear Parent:

We greatly appreciate your interest in Eagle U. We are committed to helping young people learn the critical skills they need to be happy and successful in the real world that they typically do not, will not and can not learn in school.

What makes Eagle U unique?

Eagle U provides your student with a positive, academic environment for six days away from home where they are surrounded and affirmed by peers. Students are placed in small peer groups where discussion is led by experienced team leaders challenging them to apply the information and systems learned throughout the day. It's been our experience that these peer-to-peer discussions can be the most effective way to prompt change.

Our mission:

Yes, we want our students to say that Eagle U was one of the most life-changing experiences they've ever had. But more importantly, our mission is to return students who are self-confident and who know what they need to do to get the results they want in school, in their relationships and in their careers.

In short, our mission is: successful results.

EAGLE U HAS 3 LEVELS:

Level 1 is created to help students entering 9th and 10th grade to improve their self-confidence, study skills and communication skills. Students learn what they need to do to have a successful academic high school experience while developing strong, positive relationships with family, friends and teachers.

Level 2 is designed to help students entering the 11th and 12th grade of high school to be prepared for college by discovering a system to help them determine what major and career is right for them. Students sharpen their study skills, goal-setting skills and learn how to find mentors in their chosen fields of interest. Students learn what they need to do now before it's too late when they set foot on campus their first day of college.

Level 3: This level helps students 18-25 years of age get a seven-year head start on their career. Eagle U graduates leave with a strategy to find the right career and the ideal job in order to eliminate years of trial and error "job hopping" to find out what they want to do. In addition to learning how to network and find mentors, they have the opportunity to sit down with successful professionals in many different industries they are interested in pursuing.

When your student attends the program, we take care of everything:

• All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks)
• Transportation to and from the airport
• Eagle U T-shirt
• Bi-Weekly Eagle Booster e-mails
• Course material, student manual

Step 1
We take our commitment to you very seriously. We invest much time to make sure Eagle U is a good fit for your student. We will call you to discuss how the program will best help your student and to find out what you would like your young adult to gain.
