What is the best age to attend Eagle "U"?
As soon as you can get here! Students ages 14 to 25 are eligible to attend our
programs. It's been our experience that the earlier students can lock on to the
principles taught at Eagle "U", the easier their lives will be down the road. At
Eagle "U" we help students build and understand the importance of their daily
habits and how those habits will eventually shape their success.
What kind of students attend Eagle "U"?
Prior to acceptance, every student has to pass a telephone interview with
us. We look for several things, one of which is a desire to be successful.
Eagle "U" students range from average to elite students to everything in
between. They all ultimately share one common denominator = they have the
desire to reach for their potential. We provide the students with the right
environment to tap into their potential. We do not accept students with
"problems" because we are not about "fixing" students. We simply look for
students who have the desire to be successful - we just show them how to do
it!
How is Eagle "U" chaperoned?
The program is held at various college campuses across the country. The
students stay in the dorms and are paired with a roommate. We place high
emphasis on structure and safety, therefore, students are required to stay
on campus for the entire program.
Students are divided into small teams of 8 to 10 and are led by a Team
Leader, a college student who is a graduate of Eagle "U" who has been
accepted to lead and supervise his or her small group. They are asked to be
team leaders because of the results they've achieved since graduation from
Eagle "U". They serve as walking and talking representatives of the
principles Eagle "U" exemplifies.
Will someone pick up my student at the airport?
Most Eagle "U" participants fly to the program. We will pick the students
up from the airport and take them to the location. Our team is very well
identified and will greet the students once they arrive and help them get
their baggage. We will also take the students back to the airport on the
last day of the program to depart for their plane.
Special considerations apply to unaccompanied minors. Please contact Eagle U for details.
Is it recommended that siblings or friends attend together?
In most cases it is great to have siblings or friends attend the program
together. They have the opportunity to experience the program together, and
when they go home they serve as a support system for each other. It also
helps the students implement what they learned at Eagle "U". However, we do
want each person who attends to have his or her own, individual, unique
experience. We recommend siblings and friends to be separated into different small groups. However, we are willing to discuss individual circumstances.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask, please call and speak
with one of our Eagle "U" team members: 1-888-7 EAGLEU
